What changes between products?
Record whether the next recipe changes motor current, inertia, or a fan versus pump curve. A drive sized for a variable-torque HVAC fan can overheat when the next load is a constant-torque mixer without a matching overload class.
What must be cleaned or replaced?
Ask which output reactors, EMC filters, braking resistors and bypass contactors are included versus spare, and whether a different firmware set is assumed after the motor family changes.
How is the first good output verified?
Agree how current, speed range and recovery after a sensor-loss event will be measured, then keep that record so FAT language can repeat the same trial. A family power range published for HVAC equipment, such as the Danfoss FC 102 voltage and enclosure tables, is a reference envelope, not first-article evidence for your motor.
